A normal night at the Round 1 Bowling and Amusement arcade inside the Four Seasons Town Centre turned into a scary situation when Greensboro police responded to an “active shooter” call at around 1:30 a.m. 

Wednesday morning. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the suspect was apprehended.

Police response to the incident

Upon arriving at the scene, officers conducted a safety sweep of the area and saw the suspect leaving in a white SUV. 

The SUV crashed into a parking lot blockade, and officers instructed the suspect to exit the vehicle, which he did after about 30 minutes. 

Police stayed at Round 1 for a while, gathering evidence and clearing the scene.

Suspect's identity and charges he faces

The suspect was identified as Guiliano Salvatore Anthony Postek, 26, who was taken to the hospital for evaluation due to the possibility he had ingested some kind of narcotics. 

He now faces pending charges of discharging a firearm within an enclosure to incite fear, going armed to the terror of the public, discharging a firearm within city limits, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, injury to personal property, injury to real property, hit and run, reckless driving, and possession of marijuana.

Gun violence is a significant problem in many communities, and Greensboro is no exception. 

While no one was hurt in this incident, it highlights the need for better gun control laws and a focus on community safety.
